I joined Cloud Innovation in February 2021 and due to the Covid Pandemic it wasn’t very easy to connect with clients and partners. Face-to-face meetings and events are very important in a sales role. That’s why I am so glad they are finally back!

The latest event my colleagues and I participated in, was a very special one. That’s why I wanted to share the experience with you: 

The FinancialForce partner event

Alexander Verkouille (FinancialForce practice lead), Tom van Mieghem (COO) and I (Sales Representative) travelled to London to participate in the yearly FinancialForce partner event. 

As you might have read in one of our earlier blogs, we launched a FinancialForce practice after our own implementation to focus more on ERP & professional services projects on the Salesforce platform. Developing a practice in covid-times has definitely not been easy. The most challenging part for me you ask? Well, there are a lot, but connecting with partners via calls and online meetings is definitely one of them! 

FinancialForce invited us over for the partner event and of course we immediately took the opportunity with both hands. 


FinancialForce gave us new insights in their product roadmap for ERP & Professional Services Cloud. They showed us the new features for the upcoming releases and it was very clear that their ambition will lead to even more value for our existing customers and prospects. 


Laugh & Connect

The FinancialForce event took place in a lovely hotel in the center of London. Luckily, we had the greatest weather which allowed us to network on the terrace of the hotel. We met some very interesting people, drank a couple of beers and had the best time.
